The 30 year old Chinese put his 12 years older opponent constantly under pressure and completed the Chinese dominance.The hosts won all medals in the Women’s as well as in the Men’s Singles event. Persson suffered the same fate like his compatriot Jan-Ove Waldner four years ago. Persson’s friend was also in the penultimate round but failed to win a medal for Sweden. The Royal Family in the Peking UniversityBefore the Olympic Games, nobody was able to predict such a performance of the Swede. Persson was supported by Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf, his wife Queen Silvia and son Prince Carl Philip as well as Swedish IOC Vice-President Gunilla Lindberg. China’s MA Lin is Olympic table tennis champion in the Men’s Singles event. MA overcame his compatriot WANG Hao in five games 11-9, 11-9, 6-11, 11-7, 11-9. It was the first very big title for the 28 year old Chinese. MA has already won four times the ITTF World Cup, but never gold at World Championships or Olympic Games in Singles. After this Olympic Games in Beijing, MA Lin will have a completely new reputation. Instead of the one who loses the big matches, he is newly the most successful male Olympic table tennis player in history. He is the only one with three gold medals winning the Doubles in Athens as well as the Singles and Team event in Beijing. Like ZHANG Yining yesterday after the Women’s final, MA Lin could not hide the tears of joy when all the pressure was gone. He is the third Chinese Olympic champion in the Men’s Singles after LIU Guoliang (1996) and KONG Linghui (2000). It is the duel of the reigning Olympic Champion ZHANG Yining against her predecessor WANG Nan, Olympic champion in Sydney 2000. The players played each on 25 occasions and ZHANG Yining won fifteen times. Wang Nan Has a Chance to WinBut for the last two years, the advantage is shortly. WANG Nan won two times in 2007 and ZHANGw Yining on three times. The last opposition was in semis for the ITTF Pro Tour Qatar Open when they faced in the semis with a success 4-3 for the younger player, ZHANG Yining. The winner of this sixth final in the Olympics for table Tennis will get two Olympic Singles titles like the great DENG Yaping (CHN). China’s Wang Nan is on the way to become the most successful Olympic table tennis player ever. Hello! My comp is finally fixed again... Since nobody gives me ideas of songs, i put this song first lo... ZzZ Yeahh suffered from computer-sick? = = Few days no use le, how feel? I dont know. Just kind of angry when the comp just stop halfway & restart. Zzz Today is another good day! Everyday that i can go out with my friends is a good day(go out with family also good!!!) because seldom have the change to. Today went to TMart again. Ate Macs AGAIN. Went playground AGAIN... Managed to take a photo only. S A D SAD!~ But today, we went to the whatever you all call the what HAUNTED PLAYGROUND or something. ZzZ kind of boring zzz I didnt want to play there but ......(I never say anything hor!) Actually wanted to scare Janelle when she said that she was coming ... We bent down low in the horkey or football enclosed area or something. Saw some or 1 girl coming. One of one suggested doing what funny noises or something. = = Then we all took turns to do. Off-ed the hp muzic also. But that was when we found out that we 'scared' other primary 6 pupils! = = What idiots or looneys were we? ... ... We saw them by the side, they looked like azzif they saw some crazy people or something(mayb they had a mirror that they can see reflected things. HAHA) We went out. We saw the REAL janelle...? = = Then we played? No la just awhile we walked away to school or TMart already. Then we saw primary6 girls. They had kittens! SO CUTE!! They played but only some did, just refusing to go. ZzZ walked to TMart already, go Macs. Get water. The auntie said 60cents. SCARE US SIA!! Then 1 said just joking this auntie very bad. I AGREE!! :x Went to school. Did oral, just practising only. Since it's only 45mins, we did not have enough time to finish... Because we waited for shuying & singyin. They were finding LYY's bag! His bag just disappeared when we came back. = = Haha then like very funny like that. A bag just vanished like that. HAHA Ok post till here. AHH next week PSLE oral. 1 word. SIAN ...
