SMS ( short messagge service ) is bad for standard english.Agree or disagree? Why ? I disagree.The first point is people can decide whether they want to say "singlish" or standard english. If they choose to write "singlish", it is their own problem.In school or work,they will have to say standard english.Some people will choose to write standard english which is good in a way that they will not be confused in school or whatever.Like me,I write some "singlish" when i SMS and playing comouter games too.However,I will not write so MANY shortfroms. Like ( thank you,I will write thank you)But, when we play computer games , we should not write so much of " singlish" The second point I want to say is a question : Why do we sometimes or often say singlish?My answer is : to communicate in a faster way.Because,we always want to save time right ? The saying : time is precious!!!!Example, the word,tomorrow,we sometimes say "tmr".
